Former Big Brother Contestant Fights For Life On Her Death Bed!
Hey people! I am sure that you must be well aware about the celebrity who is referred to in the title of this write up. Yes you got it right. I am talking about Jade Goody, the contestant who appeared on the Big Brother Season 8 and soon became famous when she had some issues with another inmate, Shilpa Shetty of the Big Brother House. During her stay in the series Jade was condemned for her racist remarks against the said contestant. However, the two inmates finally settled their disputes only months after the Season 8.
finished airing. Last year, 27-year old Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer and since then she has never ceased to be in the headlines. Even now, when she is struggling with her death which can claim her life anytime, the world media is focusing on the dying actress. Reportedly, Jade has asked her family and friends to organize a grand party for her before she breathes her last. Jade is going to leave behind her mourning mother as well as two young sons. As per the doctors attending to her, Jade has been able to come this far only due to her fighting spirit. Jade, who is currently confined to her hospital bed, is living out the last few hours of her life in terrible pain, but despite that she is still clinging on to the threads of her life.
Jade was seen twice in the Big Brother show, which finished airing its Season 10. In addition she also appeared on the Indian version of the show, named Big Boss. It was during her appearance in the latter show that she learnt about her medical condition. Since then family and friends including the past and present contestants of the reality Big Brother TV show have been praying for her. Big Brother episodes were in fact the stepping pad which bought fame to this British actress. It is an irony of fate that she learned about her fatal disease on a version of the same reality show. My heart really goes out to the family who has to see their loved one fading into the hands of death and I pray to God to give them the courage to overcome this grief!
