In the aforementioned statement I referred ‘you’ to the former members of the Big Brother show, who became a part of the charity event lately.

Now, ask me what kind of charity show that was?

Well, before I announce the chief motive of the event, I would like to appreciate the gracious efforts of Ronnie Talbot, Enzo Palumbo, Adam Poch, Lane Elenburg, Michael “Cowboy” Ellis, and Michelle Costa of Big Brother fame.

Now, let me bring to your attention the endeavors, which each of these members made, in the recently held affair of Big Brother Fan Club Toy Drive, organized by Tracey Buttrick,, the founder of the club, at the American Legion, Islington Street.

The drive was held, in order to attract gargantuan number of donators, and people who believe in doing philanthropic works so as to help bring in some donation for all those children, who are deprived of happiness in their lives.

The good cause dealt with the attempt to bring smile on the faces of needy children, by raising toy donations for them.

All that the visitors were required to do was to make their own share of small contribution, by either donating a petite donation of $5, or by offering an unwrapped toy.

That sounds really interesting to me!

Well, I am going to download the pictures of this event right away.

As they say ‘Every little effort counts’, it got justified at this charity occasion, which witnessed contributions from not only the locale public, but also from some renowned names as well, who indeed felt proud in being a part of the cause.

The former members of Big Brother, who were the part of the show in Season – 10, 11, 12, and 13, have really done a great job!

I am so proud of you all!

Either you love him or hate him, but you simply cannot ignore him!

Such are the attention-drawing, popular antics and rants of two time Big Brother contestant, Jeff Schroeder.

His ‘etched in our minds’ stint on Big Brother season 13, was tangy, just like a ripened tomato.

It took him only ten days inside the house to ignite a controversy, which continues to rear its ugly face, every now and then.

The fateful day was July 12th, 2011, and he was into an absolutely serious discussion with co-contestant, Kalia Booker, about the atypical sexual inclination of Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter world.

Jeff was not at all impressed to see a gay headmaster keep company with the children, pursuing magical studies, far away from their homes.

Booker gave her ears to what the man had on his mind, but she saw nothing inappropriate in the teacher’s portrayal as a gay.

Later on, an infuriated Jeff blamed her for fabricating her reply, to put forth a positive image of herself, to the viewers of the Big Brother episodes.

While things were spicing up in the House, the web world too got into action.

A YouTube user uploaded the clip of the controversial talk, which was soon taken off the site by RealNetworks, citing infringement of copyrights, as the reason.

CBS jumped into the fray and made it clear that their show is about a group of people, under strict surveillance of cameras at all times, and whatever they have on their minds, or whatever they express, are their personal views and not those of the network.

The controversy took a turn for the worse, when after Jeff’s eviction, one of his co-contestants’ family was subjected to threatening phone calls.

The reason behind this whole drama was their votes against Jeff, putting an end to his journey on Big Bother season 13.

I think, we have had enough for today, as when it comes to Jeff, you always have plenty to talk about.

No matter whether he is wrong or right; what counts is that he is being himself!

The lively and gorgeous Julie Chen, a dazzling and grandeur beach themed house studded with bright and cheerful accessories, a magnificent prize of $500,000 and thirteen notorious house guests!

All this made for top class thrilling entertainment for almost seventy five days of summer, in 2011.

Scheming, strategizing, grouping, plotting, chaos, paranoia, trust, mistrust, friendship, love, conspiracies, controversies and happy endings came in a package with the 13th season of the preeminent television reality series, Big Brother.

The top rated series is like a casket of goodies and surprises, with its intriguing twists and turns entertaining you to the hilt, with drama, emotions, what-will-he/she-do-next-suspense and a lot more.

The season never failed to achieve the top ranks among the top American shows.

But the triumphant win of Rachel Reilly and the happy ending of season 13 of Big Brother have brought sweet sadness and a vacuum for the fans, leaving us to the long and eager wait for its renewal.

At the moment, the only alternative to fill that gap is to watch Big Brother online or satiate ourselves with a frequent download of the phenomenal show.

But if I tell you this piece of news, I am sure your joy will know no boundaries!

CBS has officially announced that the show will be back in the summer of 2012, with the ever so exciting season 14.

I am hopeful that it will heat up the television ratings once again, and give hard competition to the other series and reality shows!

As much pleased as you and I are with the news, the CBS network is gladder and all the more delighted, to add a show this great and loved, on its time slot itinerary.

The CBS’s VP of Alternative Programming, expressed joy by immensely praising the show, that it truly deserves.

The thunderstorm reality show, Big Brother, which concluded its 13th season this year in the month of September, indeed proved beneficial for one of the contestants.

And that is, of course, apart from the winner of the season, Rachel Reilly!

After conspiring, and striving to win, the one young house guest from season 13 has got another reason to smile, even though she didn’t come out as the winner.

Many of you must have put the show on download too, for future viewing purposes, as well.

Imagine her luck!

People die to get such dream roles; the roles in which they find themselves fitting the best; and this star has grabbed one such role, as her debut.

Colin would be playing the role of a model in the film also.

Did you know that she started modeling at the tender age of 11, and got a hold of great offers, and contracts too?

For Colvin, this new project is yet another lucrative offer, which wasn’t expected to fall into her laps at all!

Ah! I am sure you do, and so do I.

In fact, it was one of the reasons why many of us, including myself, have made sure to go for Big Brother download.

The show kept us excited enough to watch its season 13, which was mainly due to the chemistry between Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder.

The couple met while appearing for Big Brother season 11, and developed feelings for each other. However, by the time the season ended with Jordan Lloyd as the winner, it seemed that the love story had ended as nothing great and adventurous was heard about them.

But that did not happen!

To my knowledge, it was the same expression, which made people break into mad fits of laughter when Heaven Afrika had a great fall after her eviction from the Big Brother house!

When Heaven’s name was called out for elimination and she was done with goodbyes, she moved for the stairs and tripped like there was a banana skin on the floor!

Interestingly, Heaven herself was in giggles after the fall along with all the house mates.

She was able to make her way out of the house, when someone located her missing sandals.

Well, to nobody’s surprise, the crowd received the lady with some more laughter.

She insisted that she doesn’t hold grudges against people, who are laughing at her and she loves them all!

To make her point clear, she even argued that people sitting in the crowd just do not know a better way to show their affection!

Big Brother 13 has been entertaining us like never before, with news involving the new contestants making headlines, every other day. If you think that no one can say no to an offer to be a part of this reality series, then there is somebody who doesn’t want to be a part of Big Brother.

How can anybody deny an offer to become a part of the Big Brother family?

After all, a stint on the show provides almost everything; right from big fame to big money is promised by a participation in it!

And he is none other than Dr. Will Kirby. Shocked?

But then, taking a step back from his previous stance, he uttered that he doesn’t want to be in the Big Brother episodes.

The reason Doctor gave is that being a father now, he is more inclined towards his family than Big Brother. He added that his priorities have shifted to his family, friends and his profession. Although he appreciated the enthusiasm-rich atmosphere of the show, he would like to be more dedicated to his priorities in life.

Excuse me Dr. Will, why didn’t you consider all these things earlier?

All of a sudden, what went wrong?

The new developments were utterly surprising and unfortunately, we didn’t get to see him as season 13 of Big Brother premiered.

However, we all can still enjoy the show with other participants, who will certainly prove to be interesting enough to make the show worth watching.

So, don’t get upset as Dr. Will’s absence will not affect the spirit of the show in any way!

Normally, a show loses its sheen after some seasons, as people get bored of watching the same thing unfold, again and again.

But there are some shows that have kept the masses interested, by continuously introducing changes and unsettling the usual course. And Big Brother, currently running in season 13, ready to air episode 10, is one such show, which has kept the masses glued.

And now the show is picking up pace, as the eliminations have given it some unexpected new turns.

In the last installment, we saw the ousting of Cassi. She was in the line of fire, along with Shelly. While Shelly made it through, Cassi was sent packing. Big Brother season 13 episode 10 will reach your television screens on July 28, and you will witness eviction of yet another candidate from the house.

Along with the nail-biting times, there were moments that forced the audience to let out a hearty laugh. The incidence, which is topping the charts, is the one in which Rachel went to the washroom, with her mouthpiece on!

Well, that really made the girl turn ashen. If we let go of this laughing matter, Rachel is doing pretty well on the show. She landed the spot of HoH (Head of Household,) once again. The lady, in her later 20s, is speculated to be a strong contender for winning the season.

But the game is still on under the watchful eyes of Big Brother, and anything may happen. Go through Big Brother season 13 episode 11 to see, who would be having a hard time in the elimination zone.

The approaching segments would decide the path of future events.

So keep the path clear, by cleaning your hands from work commitments, and watch the upcoming installments.


Yes, we can term the events, going by our own understanding and take. But the bottom line remains the same that Big Brother gives two hoots about anyone on the show. Or, for that matter, even the participating inhabitants share the same emotion for each other.

It’s a pre-episode assessment, or rather a synopsis, which can go for all the remaining segments!

In Big Brother season 13 episode 8, nominations will be declared! Who would live to tell more of their tale, and who would get evicted to tell more people of their tale will become clear in this.

Just as it always is, the segment will be downright interesting.

But it won’t be clear until the arrival of Big Brother season 13 episode 9, as to who would get to exercise his or her veto power. The ninth episode would bring the Veto Competition, and because Rachel is the new HoH (Head of Household), the veto-holder would not be able to exercise his power on her.

This means we would be up to see more of her bitching.

And why am I only talking about the viewers? Let’s stop for a second, and consider all the other inhabitants of the house. If there was ever a contestant, who could work her way around with everyone, while working them up, Rachel is that one contestant.

But make no mistake of undermining her behavior only as bitching, because there are a lot more ideal things she can do! What specifically are they? You would get to see them, if you download all the episodes.

But you only need to wait before others come out with their devious tricks, and Rachel-show would certainly appear as a child’s play.
