If a story published in People Magazine is to be believed, the season’s winner Jordan Lloyd and her fellow House Guest, Jeff Schroeder have finally decided to be together. The surprising fact is that Jordan and Jeff have never taken the time to talk about this seriously. This was obvious as the two had developed an early bond in the reality series. We usually saw them together in the Big Brother house as they used to stick close to each other, cracking jokes even though the whole house around them was falling apart.

Jeff told that he liked her on the show and he liked her even more when the show ended. He also feels that he gets in trouble by saying that as Jordan says that he didn’t like her on the show and now how come he likes her. They could actually be called the winner pair. Jordan won the show with $ 500000 while Jeff was voted America’s Favorite HouseGuest and claimed a $ 25,000 cash prize.  The Big Brother winner Jordan also keeps her promises as she purchased her mother a house which she had promised her. Wow appears a bit melodramatic.

On one hand there are good things happening in the life of this Big Brother winner while on the other hand season 9 winner Adam Jasinski is heading court in drug case. He was charged with attempting to sell thousands of oxycodone pills to a government witness in Massachusetts. Jasinski has confessed to using his prize money to buy thousands of oxycodone pills so that he could resell them and earn profits. He now faces a maximum of 20 years in prison. Thus just winning the reality show doesn’t mean the person has become perfect, the main motive should be to change as a person. In-spite of all this we still love the show and are waiting for its 12 season to unfold.

“Big Brother 11” has increased viewership among adults in the age group of 18 to 34 by plus 6 percent as compared to last summer. Ya! CBS has announced that the finale of ‘Big Brother 11′ will be expanded to two hours because of the growth shown by audience since last summer’s edition. The season came to an end on September 16, 2008, lasting 71 days only, thus becoming the shortest season of American Big Brother. I remember my post, which I had written in October, depicting that only six months are left for Big Brother to come back with its next season and honestly admitting, these have been the longest six months as I have spent each day waiting for my favorite show to return!

Anyways, the time has come when we can enjoy season 11 of Big Brother. Nothing to think about, as once again CBS network would serve as the podium for the series. Among the executive producers are Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Scott Einziger. Julie Chen would return, to serve as the host. The lady has denied all the rumors that she would be taking a maternity leave. She has confirmed that she would stay with the show during her pregnancy.

When season 10 of Big Brother was running in its final week, the CBS Network started casting for the upcoming season. All the applicants, who made it up to the first round of selection, would move to Los Angeles to be a part of the next round of the show. Hey people! I am sure that you must be well aware about the celebrity who is referred to in the title of this write up. Yes you got it right. I am talking about Jade Goody, the contestant who appeared on the Big Brother Season 8 and soon became famous when she had some issues with another inmate, Shilpa Shetty of the Big Brother House. During her stay in the series Jade was condemned for her racist remarks against the said contestant. However, the two inmates finally settled their disputes only months after the Season 8.

finished airing. Last year, 27-year old Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer and since then she has never ceased to be in the headlines. Even now, when she is struggling with her death which can claim her life anytime, the world media is focusing on the dying actress. Reportedly, Jade has asked her family and friends to organize a grand party for her before she breathes her last. Jade is going to leave behind her mourning mother as well as two young sons. As per the doctors attending to her, Jade has been able to come this far only due to her fighting spirit. Jade, who is currently confined to her hospital bed, is living out the last few hours of her life in terrible pain, but despite that she is still clinging on to the threads of her life.

Jade was seen twice in the Big Brother show, which finished airing its Season 10. In addition she also appeared on the Indian version of the show, named Big Boss. It was during her appearance in the latter show that she learnt about her medical condition. Since then family and friends including the past and present contestants of the reality Big Brother TV show have been praying for her. Big Brother episodes were in fact the stepping pad which bought fame to this British actress. It is an irony of fate that she learned about her fatal disease on a version of the same reality show. My heart really goes out to the family who has to see their loved one fading into the hands of death and I pray to God to give them the courage to overcome this grief!

Wow!! Well, I think the title of my post is enough to make you to say ‘Hurrah… It’s rocking man!‘. After the season 10 finale, when Dan Gheesling won the title of ‘Big Brother‘ 10, speculations were being made by the viewers about season 11 and finally it’s official now. CBS network has announced that it will be aired in the summer of 2009 and you just need to wait for six months to have it on your TV screen.

This announcement has also shattered away the dreams of those who were waiting for a winter edition (just like happened in season 9 of series). Once again, it’d be a summer version of the show. Most probably, it’d be commenced in July … let’s see! One issue is here that I’d like to share with you. If it returns in winter, then, we can hope for two seasons in a year. ‘Big Brother’ has already done it in 2008 with the first season in winters and the second season in summers. So, I am also one of those who’re expecting it in winters…. Ahh! That might not be possible at all.

In last season, it averaged 7 million viewers and even continued with the same ratings during the Beijing Olympics also. Okay, don’t go into the past and let’s discuss something about the upcoming seasons. ‘Big Brother’ is only one show of its type and we watched new challenges and twists every season. Actually, I must say that the show’s being evolved and each season contributes a lot to its development. Now is the time to see, what’d be new in the season 11 and whom do you expect as the Houseguests this time?
